Get to know the Neurological Rehabilitation Centre Godeshöhe better with a view over the Rhine Valley and the Siebengebirge. The light-friendly architecture of our buildings and the location next to the Kottenforst nature reserve are designed to support the therapeutic success of our patients.
The main building: meeting place and centre of the clinic
The 320 beds of our clinic are distributed over seven interlinked hospital units. The central main building has a lobby that connects the bright and spacious units to each other. Find out here what opportunities there are to relax and meet visitors:
The main building is also our communication hub. It houses the reception and patient admissions, the restaurant, and the cafeteria with a kiosk and outdoor terrace. The restaurant offers a varied range of meals - the cafeteria and kiosk are ideal for all times in between meals. Our patients like to take advantage of the homemade cake buffet here in the afternoon and have a good selection of daily newspapers, magazines, sweets, chilled drinks, and daily necessities.
We have set up a library in the cafeteria area and there are many cosy sitting areas here, as in the other houses, for our patients and their relatives.
The clinic chaplaincy and our interdenominational "Room of Silence" are also located in the main building. Information and offers of hairdressing, cosmetics, and medical foot care can also be found here.
Surroundings: town and forest close by
Our clinic is located above Bonn Bad Godesberg in the immediate vicinity of the historic walls of medieval Godesburg. Our hospital offers an impressive wide view over the Rhine valley and the Siebengebirge with Drachenfels and Petersberg.
In just a few minutes you can reach the Kottenforst from our hospital: a nature reserve with a history of more than 1000 years - a mixed forest where you can find peace and relaxation on short or long walks. All hiking trails are very well developed. You can always take a break and recharge your batteries in cafés and beer gardens. From the tower of Godesburg Castle you have a fantastic view over the Cologne Bay, the city, the Siebengebirge, and the Rhine Valley. The historic walls house a hotel-restaurant and are a popular destination for excursions.
But, you can also quickly reach the centre of Bad Godesberg, which has retained its cohesive, urban character. Here you will find a variety of shopping opportunities and the chance to stroll through the picturesque villa district down to the lively Rhine promenade. Surrounded by a beautiful park, the former electoral ballroom 'La Redoute' is located in the centre of Bad Godesberg.
Those who want more city life will find a great variety of cultural and social activities in nearby Bonn. The former federal capital is unique in every respect and more than worth a trip.
