Acute Early Rehabilitation
We are a planned hospital
Since April 2017 the Neurological Rehabilitation Centre Godeshöhe has also been licensed as a planned hospital of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia (§ 108 SGB V). It operates 40 planned beds for use in the special discipline of neurological-neurosurgical early rehabilitation. In a separate building structure, a total of 49 bed places with intensive medical monitoring options, including 26 ventilation places, are provided.
Better chances of higher rehabilitation success
The prerequisite for treatment in acute early rehabilitation here is an existing need for hospital treatment and the completion of "initial" treatment within a pre-treatment hospital. Hospital services are invoiced in accordance with § 39 SGB V. If medically necessary, patients can be admitted directly as inpatients in the acute area of the Neurological Rehabilitation Centre Godeshöhe. An application to the health insurance fund does not have to be made in advance. Prompt inpatient admission, and thus a quick start to the rehabilitation process, improves the chances of a higher level of rehabilitation success.
Optimal support due to cooperation
In addition, we offer a wide range of special disciplines (e.g. dermatology, ENT) available on a consultative basis, a 24-hour radiology service (X-ray diagnostics, computer tomography), and the intensive care unit of our cooperation partner, the University Hospital of Bonn, all located in the same building, which make up the optimal care process for our acute inpatients.
