The Krankenhaus Geesthacht is a basic, standard care facility. Our hospital provides round-the-clock in-patient and out-patient care for Geesthacht and the surrounding communities. Every year, our 500 employees provide inpatient and outpatient care to around 30,000 patients. Their health is always our focus. Maintaining or restoring it is our goal. Our concern is to ensure your well-being and to make your stay at our hospital as pleasant as possible. As an academic teaching hospital of the University Medical Centre Hamburg-Eppendorf, we also train future doctors during their practical year. At the same time, we offer apprenticeships for becoming nursing specialists. On the following pages you will find an overview of our range of services.
