Obesity Centre

The obesity centre is integrated into the Johanniter-Krankenhaus Geesthacht and consists of an interdisciplinary team of surgeons, internists, obesity coordinators, nutritional therapists, psychologists, and exercise therapists.

Katja Badke is the primary contact for our obesity centre. She is its coordinator. Through her many years of work in the field of obesity, her voluntary work as the second chairperson of AdipositasHilfe Deutschland, and as a person affected herself, she is familiar with the problems and treatment of obesity.

The centre is headed by Dr Frank Templin.
