Urology Johanniter-Clinics
Urology is the branch of medicine that treats diseases of the urinary and male genital organs. The focus of our ward is on the kidneys, ureters, urethra, and bladder, as well as the prostate and male genitals.
The Urology Ward of the Johanniter-clinics in Bonn, headed by Prof. Dr. Roland Vorreuther, is located across two sites: the Waldkrankenhaus and the Johanniter-Krankenhaus. The head at the Johanniter-Krankenhaus is Prof. Dr. Carsten Ohlmann.
We have full authorisation to provide further specialist training and authorisation to provide further training in medicinal tumour therapy and andrology.
Cooperation with the University Hospital Bonn
Close cooperation with Prof. Dr med. Glen Kristiansen, the Director of Pathology at the University Hospital Bonn and an internationally recognised expert in the field of uro-pathology, creates a special expertise for urological cancers, especially for prostate carcinoma.
