The Johanniter GmbH unites 17 hospitals, specialist clinics and rehabilitation links as well as seven medical and therapeutic centres throughout Germany. In addition, the ‘Rheinische Genossenschaft’ runs three day clinics in North Rhine-Westphalia. They all share the principle of the highest medical and nursing quality standards.
We employ about 5,500 people in our nine hospitals - more than 1,500 in the specialist clinics and rehabilitation clinics – including the medical and therapeutic centres our staff looks after about 400,000 patients each year.
Thanks to a passion for nursing, outstanding medical care and state-of-the-art treatment methods, many Johanniter facilities are renowned for their excellent and in some cases highly specialised departments.
