What it's about:

Together with our regional partner, Live & Learn Cambodia (LLC), we provide training to farmers in rural villages in the northeastern provinces of Cambodia to support and improve sustainable agricultural practices. Like many smallholder farmers around the world, Cambodian farmers are highly vulnerable to climatic factors such as floods and droughts. 

Examples of activities:

Introduction of vermicomposting technology to 90 interested farmers in the target region.

Training for 1,000 farmers on agricultural techniques and exchange visits

Distribution of seeds and agricultural tools to 1,000 farmers

Workshops for 35 savings groups on community-based enterprise development, leadership and group management

Preparation of business plans for ten small businesses in 3 provinces

Biogas plants for 30 households, solar pumps for 40 households
